Erick is a practicing attorney focusing his practice in the fields of Real Estate, Estate Planning and Probate. He is a proud graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators) and the University of Miami School of Law (he said--Go Gators!). Erick has always been involved in the local community, starting in his youth with St. Louis Catholic Church, in Pinecrest, and into his adulthood with the United Way’s Young Leader’s Program, then as Vice President, President and Board Member of the Kiwanis Club of Coral Gables. Erick is thrilled to have this opportunity to build a charitable organization with his close friends who all share his love of the Miami community and his desire to give back to the City Beautiful. In his spare time Erick enjoys playing sports and holding onto his dreams of losing that last 10 pounds, which he’ll start doing tomorrow.

Noemi always felt a calling to help others, choosing to get her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Florida. She spent two years as an ICU nurse at Shands Hospital before continuing her education, attaining a master's in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, in the highly specialized field of anesthesia.
As a Nurse Anesthetist, Noemi became an avid traveler. She loves to volunteer as an anesthesia provider on medical missions all over the world. Before co-founding Orenda, Noemi was on the board of directors and served as secretary at the Kiwanis Club of Coral Gables.
She is most passionate about eradicating human trafficking and empowering girls to become strong women leaders.

Jessica is the Southeast Regional Operations/Support Service Manager of Gannett Fleming, Inc, a Global Infrastructure Solutions Consultant firm. Jessica is part of the SE Leadership Team helping to institute regional initiatives including innovation, employee engagement, support service excellence, and company-wide financial success. As a mother, she is passionate about giving back to the community especially to the younger generations. In addition, she has a soft spot for the elderly and enjoys spending time at nursing homes, lifting the spirits and learning from many whom she has never met. A common phrase that Jessica lives by is "Choose Happy, Love Deeply."

Karina has always had a passion for helping others. She has been actively volunteering for the past 20 years with organizations such as The Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity, Miami Rescue Mission, and Camillus House, to name a few. Most recently she was Volunteer Leader for the Adopt-a-Floor program at the Holtz Children’s Hospital, run by the Little Lighthouse Foundation, in which she was awarded Volunteer of the Year. This passion is what inspired Karina to establish Orenda Miami along with friends that had the same interest. Her love for and devotion for the welfare of children, the homeless, the elderly and animals is one of her greatest sources of happiness.
Karina currently runs the East Coast division for STR Helper, and currently serves as Vice President of Membership for the Miami Beach branch of Toastmaster’s International, an organization focused on communication, leadership and public speaking. She is a graduate of the University of Miami with a Master’s in Business Administration.

When Eric isn't busy working for the United States Coast Guard, he loves to volunteer his time as the head chef at Orenda's biggest event of the year, the Crawfish Boil.
